The reports revealed that the responsibilities have been handed over to Rajan Shah, a cook who has been working with him for a long time. Ratan Tata previously raised a dog named 'Tito'. After it died, another dog was adopted and given the same name and cared for with great love.

It is also reported that the names of his personal assistants Rajan Shah and Subbaiah, who have been working with him for three decades, have also been included in the will. According to relevant sources, Tata's assets of around Rs.10,000 crore will go to foundations set up by him, brother Jimmy Tata, his assistants and others as written in the will.

Ratan Tata was very passionate about taking care of stray dogs. In the past, a shelter was provided to stray dogs in the premises of Taj Hotel. Hospitals were built for these mute creatures. It is noteworthy that the last project he worked on was for dogs. It was started in the name of 'Pet Project' in a five storied building in Mumbai. It has facility to accommodate 200 dogs. It is known that Tata, who was seriously ill due to health reasons, breathed his last on October 9 while undergoing treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai.
